Holbrook House Bed And Breakfast Harbor, Me

We had a fantastic experience at Holbrook House! The room was updated, clean, and comfortable, featuring modern amenities in a charming setting. The price was incredible, especially for the area. I visited Bar Harbor as a child, but it was my partner's first time, and we had such a wonderful time returning to Holbrook every evening. Michelle and Eric were gracious hosts, and the breakfasts each morning were absolutely delicious. The baked goods they left out every day were heavenly! Our hosts were always available and knowledgeable about the area, including trails and everything we needed to know. We also met some wonderful people during our stay. I will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay with Michelle and Eric at Holbrook House. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a refrigerator, wine glasses, a TV, a deck, blackout shades (which allowed me to sleep in later than ever), and a large bathroom with amazing shower options. The inn was impeccably clean and well-organized. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden with a glass of wine in the afternoon, and the city center was just a pleasant stroll away, with convenient parking available on-site. Don't miss out on Michelle's afternoon treatments! If you were there last week and didn't get to try the molasses cookies, it's likely because I devoured them—they were that delicious! Breakfast was outstanding and beautifully presented. We're already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you, Michelle and Eric, as well as the dog, for an unforgettable first stay in Bar Harbor!

This is truly the only place I will ever stay in Barhafen! The breakfast is AMAZING—honestly, it’s better than dining out at a restaurant! The rooms are clean and modern, and I have to say, our shower was the best I’ve ever experienced. We slept wonderfully in the cozy, comfortable bed! The location is fantastic, conveniently close to everything you need, and the staff at Holbrook House provided the best recommendations. Thank you for providing such a beautiful and welcoming place to return to after a long day of hiking in Acadia!

Close enough to go in downtown Bar Harbor, but far enough away to not with all the people and traffic. Eric and Michelle were super friendly and the breakfast was fantastic; some of the best breakfast dishes I've ever had. After our first breakfast we have stabbed all our other breakfast plans for the trip and registered for the breakfast provided every day. That was my first BnB experience and it was great.

Stayed in the Compass Rose room four nights. Lovely room at the end of the hall upstairs. At check-in owner Erik shared information about the property and what to do in town. Later he shared that our room has received the most upgrades since they began renovations. They do one per off season. Breakfasts were delicious. Chatter was friendly among guests at breakfast. Because of COVID, they are not cleaning rooms while you’re there, unless you request it and then they are happy to. They provide places on each floor for emptying trash and will provide you with clean towels upon request. This place is so cozy and inviting.
