The nice hostess greeted us, gave us a mini tour of the room and we let ourselves in how we were exhausted from visits and hiking parts of Acadia. Minutes later the best thirst, iced tea and lemonade stood on our door. How thoughtful! There was a good water pressure in the showers, a very nice garden to spend time, unexpected AC and just a few minutes walk in downtown. A great experience!
Great location near shops and restaurants. Rooms are comfortable and well furnished. The main house is also comfortable with all day tea and coffee and afternoon baked treats. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very accommodating and ensured that our needs were met and that we were comfortable and fully satisfied.
Wouldn't have asked for a better stay. From the minute we came to the minute we left almost a week later, this was the place to be. The staff was friendly and professional, the rooms immaculate and beautifully decorated, breakfast and tea time were perfect. The inn is a simple walk to all that Bar Harbor has to offer. We're coming back!
First visitors to Bar Harbor to celebrate our wedding anniversary. On arrival we were greeted by Diane and soon realized that we made an amazing new friend. Ken and Stacey have done a wonderful job with the house. Our room (Biscobel #5) was immaculate, welcoming and comfortable. The two days were varied and delicious and we enjoyed taking tea with other guests in the afternoon. Just a short walk to restaurants, shops and the port. A great value and overall wonderful experience.
Ken and Stacy are great host. The rooms are nicely decorated and always clean and comfortable. The location is very close to The town wharf which serves as a working waterfront for the local lobsterman. The end is close to where watching and sightseeing excursions. It's an easy walk to downtown. And the entrance to the national Park is not far at all
