Baraga Lakeside Inn

I stayed at this hotel in order to save money, and if you’re looking for more than that then stop right there. The restaurant has a serious fly problem, they buzz around you while you eat and even land on your food, and there was Atleast 5 dead nats on the window sill when I ate dinner there. When I asked about the fly problem they said they couldn’t do anything because of health code. Not just this, but the rooms are decades outdated and the only open wall plugs in my room were next to the TV, which led to me having to unplug the alarm clock to charge my phone… so good luck using your devices in bed if they drain battery fast. The employees themselves are fine, the waitress was nice, the food itself wasn’t bad at all if you ignored the flies, the room was clean besides the what I assume is nail polish stain on one of my blankets, and the pool is ok but you’re going to feel debris on your feet when you walk around in it, Atleast that was my experience. I can see some of the exterior facade is being redone, so I seriously hope the same is done for the interior. Would come again if I had to.

I hit a deer, my car was totaled. I was on my way to Minnesota but ended up spending 4 nights here waiting to get a rental car in Marquette. The facilities, customer service, gym, and restaurant were great. They had a working sauna, pool and hot tub that were very relaxing. Although it was not a planned stay I am glad I got to experience this really good hotel. I would definitely stay here again! I also enjoyed the peaceful views of Lake Superior.

Very nice place!Loved having the bat and restaurant right downstairs.The rooms were very nice. One was remodel, one wasnt, but they were equally nice.The patio and fire pit were very nicely decorated and put together. Not much of a beach, but the indoor pool solved all that! 5 stars!Thank you to all the staff at the Lakeside!???
