Affarwat - Bāramūla

I think this hotel requires no review, each body knows that this is one of the best hotel in gulmarg for its location, view, staff and hospitality. The hotel was little old, but with great view rooms on the front and great food. We were there for a night on April 2022, our experience was best. Room heating and ceiling heating works very well. This hotel was decent and everything was good. The most beautiful thing at this hotel was the view of the hill of the room, which it blunted. The food was delicious and the staff was cooperative. Overall, it was a good stay.

Our stay was very good at Affarwat. Food was the best part. Recommended hotel in Gulmarg. The only thing I didn’t like is when we refuse the tip at the checkout why does the staff gets so much angry. Professionalism says that you shouldn’t even ask for tip because customer have already paid for the stay and if we say No then the staff should be polite enough to accept that

We had stayed here for 2 days, and overall it was pleasant. Good things: They have provided us the room with a really great view of the valley. The room was a bit small but cozy. The place is a walk away from the main market and have its own serene ambience. Also all the 'so called points ' are at walkable distance from here (No need to hire Pony) and Gondola ride is just 1.7 Kms from here, one can easily go by walking. The electric hot blanket was included without any extra costs. I would recommend to include breakfast and dinner along with stay if you wish as the food they provide is really good, and its quite difficult to find good food in Gulmarg. Best part though was very well behaved, helpful and well spoken staff, Who truly believes in 'mehman nawazi of kashmir ' I would really like to mention Mr. NISSAR AHMAD, who really made sure our stay was pleasant, Also The manager Mr. SAJJAD was nice to talk to. Can be improved: The room lightings weren 't sufficient, As it gets very darker at nights. Overall, You can expect a good food service and possibly a nice view, if you wish to stay here.

Overall a really good property in terms of everything food,stay,services,own parking Location. Loved the Food there (you can blindly try any dish there).Rooms are a bit small but going as per the location where they are it is okay. Located in Main Market so you have lot's of other eateries available there (recommended pizza,burger northwind cafe).We did breakfast dinner here no complaints excellent service from hotel staff is there.Overall Will recommend everyone to stay here Value for Money Offer.
