I found they weren’t that attentive at times despite the fairly empty restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely, nice and bright and perfect to socialise with a group. We started with the garlic bread which was made from toasted buttermilk buns and garlic butter a tad different to usual garlic breads, but nevertheless still very yummy. The Szechuan Calamari was nice and tender and perfectly accompanied with nam Jim sauce. <br/ <br/ For mains, my friends loved the Portuguese chicken skewers which were cooked so well and coated in peri peri sauce, making it so flavourful. Another friend had the premium beef burger which she loved!! The Monte fillet I ordered was succulent, but I was quite disappointed with the mushroom sauce, which I felt was quite watered down and not as good compared to other mushroom sauces I’ve tried before. The crunchy chips and sweet potato chips were all made well crisp and seasoned just right. However, I was so disappointed with the Mac cheese since I could not really taste much at all and felt like I was just eating plain pasta. The Greek salad and mashed potato were also pretty mediocre.<br/ <br/ We concluded the lunch with “The Grand Finale”, which was absolutely amazing!!! We were quite full at the end but wanted to satisfy our sweet tooth with small bites of dessert, so what’s better than ordering four deserts in one plate? My personal favourite was the chocolate fondant it was warm and soft with liquid chocolate oozing out (with vanilla ice cream as the perfect partner! The Crème Brûlée, summer pavlova and raspberry apple pie were all divine and really catered to everyone’s personal dessert favourites! <br/ <br/ Can’t wait to come back to try more of the food! :
Food and service was amazing! Ribs were cooked perfectly, however tomahawk steak was a bit over cooked making it slightly dry. Would definitely come back soon. Made reservations off the fork for 50%.
This is a great place to come for a nice dinner or dessert (like I did). The dessert was aesthetically presented and we were able to take nice photos. The pavlova was light and fluffy and the fruit was fresh.
I had a wonderful evening here a few weeks ago and would definitely look to come back. You are met with a trendy, modern looking decor, which is intimate enough for a date, but appropriate for a business meal. The food, while a little pricey, is very high quality, especially the steaks. I ordered the steak skewer, and the beef was cooked to perfection. Juicy, tender, seasoned beautifully. Absolutely no complaints. The service was great, very attentive without being intrusive, but they were a little quick to ask for our orders, but that can be forgiven.
The beef is really good and cooked perfectly. Will come back again next time.
