This monument was unveiled in honor of the founding of all the stations in the city. The year the monument was inaugurated marked the first time Baranovichi celebrated its anniversary, although it was actually the 115th year since its establishment. The Em 710 30 locomotives do not stand out from other machines built in the same year, 1931, but they have settled debates among local historians. This has served as proof that the Moscow-Brest railway station laid the foundation for the city, rather than the village of Baranovichi, which existed nearby as an independent entity. Now, the locomotive monument proudly stands on its pedestal, dedicated to all three stations in Baranovichi.
The railway is a key enterprise for Baranovichi, so it’s no surprise to find numerous railway museums and monuments in the city. Among them is the Locomotive Monument, which features an actual locomotive that once ran on the tracks.
A great monument, the locomotive is in good condition, and it's clear that it is well maintained. Near this monument, there's a railway museum worth visiting, featuring many exhibits of steam engines, locomotives, and various other railway equipment!
Паровоз находится на гербе города Барановичи, и было бы странно, если бы не было памятника.
Очень интересная идея. Я когда рядом нахожусь, обязательно на него посмотрю.
