Waffle House - Barboursville

Came in to have lunch waited ten minutes to be acknowledged. Sever finally came to the table to take my order. Order was placed, and in really quickly. The order was finally finished. The cook was looking around for the sever to run food to the table nowhere to be found. Cook finally brought food to the table instead and took better care of me than my severe ever did cook even got my refill on drinks for me. When it came to leave, guess what, no sever to found once again cook wrote up ticket for me and instead of me leaving tip on table I gave it to the cook instead. I feel that she took better care of the customers than what the sever was doing. Which to come to find out was outside smoking the whole time when I went to go to leave.

I have been going to this Waffle House for a couple years now. Good people and great staff. They welcome you when you come in and bid you farewell when you leave. The service got 4 stars only because of the one of the staff having hands (fingers) that were not upkept. It's easy to trim and wash nails when in the food business.Food: 5/5

This was my first time eating in a waffle house and I have to say it was pretty good... The coffee was delicious my burger was hot and fresh...?And those I was with had waffles with syrup ?and bacon which I sampled and I also thought was delicious... The prices are okay... And the service was really good and the staff friendly.Food: 5/5

Be sure to tip your servers extra at this Waffle House!! As a regular there I am absolutely disgusted with the over load of servers they have on 1 shift!!! Servers have 2-3 table sections! That is insane! No server can make even half of a utility bill with having that small of a section! The servers and cooks are 10/10!! But management clearly doesn’t care about the perfectly able staff she already has! So show them a little extra love! They are people just trying to keep the lights on like the rest of us in this economy!!

It was nice to go and eat there food was good and service was great atmosphere was very nice..Food: 4/5
