In spite of some of these bad reviews, this place is almost always full. This is Horta-Guinardó, not only that, it 's Barcelona. If you want authentic, you won 't find it in Spain. Not even American food. You will almost always find the closest thing to the best version of the cuisine that you have been accustomed to eating in other countries. I 'm from Los Angeles California, and if you want the best Chinese food you 'll have to go to Mr. Chow 's, in Beverly Hills, where Billy Wilder and Dean Martin, Bobe Hope, among others used to eat. But Chinese food isn 't gourmet, in fact, there is no such plate as kon pao in China. That 's actually an American invention! So we get the vegetable tempura, rollo primavera con ensalada, pollo a la plancha, kon pao pollo, tenera con champiñones, and they have a decent flam for dessert. These are the plates I recommend also. The tempura can be a little greasy and stuck together, julienne cut like French fries- this is not the kind of tempura you would expect to get where all of the pieces are separated from each other and the batter is light. Also, ask for the prepared chili paste if you like spicy. Here in Spain, spicy here isn 't really spicy in my opinion, as I am accustomed to red chilis and the serrano green chili de arból used in Thai and/or Pakistani food. Their fried rices are good too but I prefer brown rice to white and they don 't serve brown rice here. The prices for their menus during the week are about 10 euros per person but it includes large portions. I 've had the best Chinese food and I 've had the worst. This is in the middle above average. You can also call in your order and have it available for pick-up to take home. Enjoy!
This may not be the best food in Barcelona. Of course the evaluation is based on the ration quality price, on the other hand this is the only chinese restaurant in Barcelona where I dear to order take-away food. Additionally I 've seen how all the restaurant staff is doing deep-cleaning every day. They keep the highest cleanning standards I 've ever seen in a chinese restaurant. What do I like to eat: Arroz 3 delicias , Carne a la piedra , Rollo de verduras , Fideos fritos. Skip deserts. Coffee is fine for a chinese restaurant.
