Sailor - Barcelona

We just had drinks today, not overpriced at all! A big ice tea and a special craft beer, 8.80 total. The tapas inside looked fresh but unfortunately didn't had the chance to taste it... The waitress and the cleaning lady were very friendly! Tapas menu doesn't look expensive at all!

Had a coffee and brandy to finish the night on way back to hotel. Waitress was charming and friendly. Went back the next night and ordered the same. Two other tables finally left at which stage the owner came out and started shouting at us in I presume Catalan. We were just finishing the brandys and wondered what it was all about. He then came out with the bill and slammed it down screaming at us while gesturing wildly. Perhaps he had endured a tough day and wanted to get home but this guy should not be in a position dealing with the public. There are no prices on show and the charge is a little on the high side as they then add tax on top. Take my advice and carry on walking dont stop.

On a dark and stormy night we had just left an unlucky night at the casino and caught a cab to the gothic quarter to call it a night. Suddenly as we came to our street the rain stopped and our night changed direction. We had the driver drop us off at an intersection and decided to head toward La Rambla. Getting hungry we looked at a couple of menus and decided on Sailor for a pizza. We sat outside had a very nice waitress and were serenaded by an older man with an acoustic guitar with everything from Spanish love songs to a Spanish English Billie Jean . The food was good the wine was nice and you couldn 't beat the atmosphere that night

Rip off, rubbish food, ; racist, rude and insulting owners, the worst experience I had in years. it began with the owner (spanish senior male) occupation.

Tomaten on the brot taste can be preserved, no taste or season. Somego cheese is 10 euro for 6 slices and tastes like cheese. sizzling garlic.
