The best restaurant you can go to in London. spider-made regrets. What else can you ask?
Arros qd is the restaurant of the chef quique dacosta in londres, a place of almost 1,000 square meters at a step of the oxford street, with a gastronomic proposal with the “roces” as protagonists. and since the day this elegant restaurant was opened I have been eager to visit it so that I can count my first-person experience, and that moment has arrived, I have been able to enjoy that fantastic local in londres and one of the most requested rice. the restaurant has been decorated by one of the most famous designers in our country, Lazaro Rosa-Violán. the first thing that stands out is an impressive view of the winery and an open kitchen so that guests can enjoy the live kitchen of the different rice that are prepared, in fact, next to the view kitchen there is a bar to live with more intensity the kitchen of the quique dacosta and its team. As they explain: “Our menu changes with the seasons, mixing the legacy of Spanish regional cuisine with British local ingredients. most of our dishes are prepared on fire, with our six-metre grill, and include everything, from grilled octopus to tomahawk, but without a doubt our “star” dish is rice, which comes to the newly cooked table. the liquid part is also important in the rice qd we find a very complete wine menu, which pays homage to the less well-known classic wines of the Mediterranean, as well as paying tribute to the best regions and wine producers from around the world, a good selection of champagne, without forgetting our famous “generous”. We also find a good proposal of original cocktails such as saffron and sake, gin mare and gazpacho, coffee liqueur and Catalan cream. cocktails that are based on a fun blend of ingredients to relive the memories of the Mediterranean nights. the letter is divided into several sections: raw, earth, fish, meat, sea. but if there is something this restaurant stands out, they are so rice prepared in the fire, with a kitchen view so you can enjoy the show from the room. a great variety of which we find the vegetable rice, the paella valenciana, with rabbit, chicken, garro and rosemary beans, the spicy crab rice, the smoked eel rice, the black rice. has been a good experience to enjoy the cuisine of one of our most international chefs in one of the “Templos” of gastronomy as it is London, where it is not easy to succeed. He's getting it and his whole team is getting it. Lots of successes!
Great quality paella in the heart of London. They offer a variety of paellas. I went with big group, which means that I could try several, including: black ink, rabbit and Mediterranean fish paellas. Service was excellent, the restaurant looks fantastic, including the upper bar, you can see the kitchen and it looks great, and the entire ambience was very welcoming. The reason I didn't have five stars was because of the price. It is true, it is a very good quality paella, but also the most basic paella must be ordered for two people and costs you only over £56 with service fee. I'm not a chef, but I cooked many decent quality paellas. And I have always managed to make them for about £5 for 2 people with a generous amount of organic chicken legs. I understand that this is the restaurant of a world-famous chef with three Michelin stars in his main restaurant in Spain, but I cannot see how this justifies a price of 10 times the costs. Also the cheapest white wine was about £57 with service fee. We got a whore sauce of £4 per Alioli sauce! Overall, therefore, the main stop would be to return to this restaurant, the price. Except that it was a wonderful, well-recommended experience.
Had a great meal here... Loved the food, the cheese Pebble was delicious! We enjoyed every court. Coral our server was very attentive and gave great suggestions for food and dessert wines. The establishment of the place was great, liked that they had an effort to paint the pipework ceiling and decorate where they can, like some places not really try. Thank you and hope to come back in the near future.
