A Vicentina - Barcelos

Fui muito bem recebido... Todo o staff foi atencioso, o bife á cortador estava divinal... Recomendo vivamente...

Le plat du jour, rouget au four, était bien préparé. L'accompagnement de pommes de terre et légumes était bon. Le serveur était seul mais rapide et agréable. L'ambiance trop bruyante ce jour là car au Portugal les gens parlent fort. Mais c'est un restaurant que je recommande.

What a great place to eat! Lovely food and very authentic. Excellent value for money and they coped well with my very poor Portuguese! If/when I come back to Barcelos, I will definitely be eating here. Thank you for your kindness, patience, hospitality and great food excellent value for money.

We were a family of 8 (aged 76 11) wandering the streets of Barcelos at the start of a 2 week holiday in the area when we found this place. The food was fabulous, so tasty and astonishly well priced. We returned not once but twice as found nowhere else to compete with this. The staff were so friendly, the menu covered all tastes and there was just nothing wrong. We were lucky enough to eat out in many great places over our 2 week stay in the area but this is the one which will remain in my memory for all the right reasons. Tasty, filling and fabulous. If I'm back this way again I will eat here again for sure.

Had the deal of the day after the market which was soup, drink, main meal (sardines or pork), drink and coffee for 6 euros and it was very nice, quick and good English spoken. Great service.
