La Casona - Barichara

I made a reservation by a well-known website everyone knows that I made it around 17.30 and was confirmed.at 7 the day after I got an email saying apologise no room . but still on the website shown how available talk with them. and after several contradictory excuses there was no reservation not professional

At noon you could get a table with many local families and friendly restaurants in large groups. in the early evening a very quiet, simple meal of grilled chicken, rice, curtains and salad. limited menu with busy lunchtime during high season. comfortable and simple service.

Average place, very local, nothing from the ordinary. absolutely nothing special about the food, there must be better possibilities around. also not cheap.

His opening times are limited to lunch, as far as I could make it out, but when I finally found it open, the menu del dia was very satisfied and good.

I loved the ambience of this restaurant. It is located in a beautiful colonial style house and centered around a lush courtyard with a fountain. We came on a Sunday, which is the day when the locals come with their families and the restaurant plays...live music. The menu features typical dishes from Santander. Unfortunately, though I love the food from this region, I did not think it was prepared well at this restaurant. I recommend coming for the atmosphere and ordering the simplest dishes possible.
