Contribuisci feedbackSince there is only one entrance door, we thought we were going to grab food at 5 Bridges BAR, but the hostess said how many and led us into the restaurant. The specials looks ok, so we stayed. Should have left. It was 10 minutes before the waitress came to take a drink order and hand us menus. We assumed this may be due to lack of COVID-related staffing, but it only got worse, without any apologies. After another 5-7 minutes the waitress walked by our table and said your drinks are at the bar, I 'll be right back . After another lengthy wait, she arrived and one of the drinks which I asked for on the rocks came frozen. She said they could remake it, but I didn 't know how long that was going to take, so I kept it. She started to walk away when I asked if we could order. Good thing I had time to check out the details of the specials menu at the entrance during our waiting because she never mentioned any of the specials! I ordered the mahi on special $36 , husband ordered ribs $27 . Dinner, of course took awhile, but didn 't seem as long as the drinks. Ribs were extremely tough, and almost inedible. Mahi was nothing special, and kinda tasteless. Rolls were microwaved, thus very chewy. She never came back to ask how things were or if we wanted another drink like we 'd wait for another one! . When she brought the check, she asked how things were and we explained about the tough ribs and tasteless mahi. Her only response was oh, sorry . Why even bother asking?? The 4 men at the table next to us were drinking a bottle of wine when we arrived. Their food seemed a little delayed, but they were DONE eating and getting up to leave before we got our food. To be fair, I can understand being understaffed during COVID, but no apologies, or no effort to make things more pleasant isn 't acceptable.
We had dinner here on Valentines Day. This is a high end expensive restaurant and most of the meal was delicious. However, the green beans were inedible and the waitress asked if we wanted dinner rolls, I said YES! thinking we were going to get nice, fresh, warm dinner rolls. She brought a basket wrapped in a napkin and when I opened it I found two hard, cold keiser rolls!! Really??? We will not be returning there anytime soon. I expect better from this type of restaurant.
I don’t know who the chef is but this was above 5 star! I had the truffle Mac and cheese off the pub menu! Smoked Gouda, fabulous house bacon, truffle oil and cavatappi. The chewiness of the bacon and pasta kept the creamy smoked Gouda on your palate exactly the right amount of time. My compliments to the chef. Have red wine instead of beer with it.
Terrible service!! Took 45 minutes just to get a BLT and bowl of soup Prime rib sandwich. This used to be a nice place! I'll be considering not coming here any more. The management is seriously lacking here!
All of the food is amazing. My favorites are the Portobella Mushroom Sandwich and Smoked Mac Cheese (Ah-mazing). Their Island Ale batter onion rings are tasty, too!
