Contribuisci feedbackWe went on a Groupon voucher what a great deal for the price! We had booked originally for another evening had to cancel due to ill health this was no problem for them. Didn't know what to expect as we do not live anywhere near the college but about 45 minutes away. We were greeted by a lovely young lady who showed us to our table in what was not like a college cafe but a very nice restaurant with lovely white table cloths night lights on the table. The food was excellent we had a lovely three course meal which cost £17 for two!! it was beautifully presented equally as good as any expensive restaurant we have been to we dine out a lot plus we had a glass of wine each a coffee which came to about £7 so that was a total of £24, it was an amazing price for what we had.The service was great always with a smile very polite. Will definitely visit again good luck to all the catering students who are doing a great job.
I try to book the Chef's Hat direct but the college booking system did not work so I booked via the reception. They assured me all was okay and if there was a problem they would contact. Last night we arrived to be told they had no such booking. No they could not accommodate us. The best they were prepared to offer was a free bottle of wine, and would we like to book for next week. We declined both offers. All six of us were very disappointed after being regular customer for some years. I emailed the college and they (to date have never replied.
I had lunch there today. The name has changed as has the lay out, but still a great place to eat locally at a fabulous price. Well done, everyone!
Excellent quality and prices are great! Highly recommend wish it was open more! The salmon and the chicken is the best!!!
I visited this restaurant tonight for a Valentine's Day meal. It was an amazing experience with a very warm welcome. They have many upcoming changes that will give students real experience in a functioning restaurant. The best part was being able to see all the chefs working to prepare the meals, with no hidden corners. The meal tonight was Italian, with very generous portions, all cooked and created on site.
