While they were reasonably priced, both the pie and pastie were mostly thick, undercooked pastry. The meat in the pie was chewy and turned out to be offal tubes. The Vanilla slice was also disappointing. We won't be returning to this restaurant.
On a busy morning after Christmas, three staff members at the cafe were working tirelessly to serve customers. Despite being the only cafe open, we were satisfied with our options of hot chocolate, coffee, pies, and delicious treats. It was the perfect place to kick off our day.
Great location, situated right at the lakeside with a beautiful view over Lake Bonney with inside and outside seating. Staff were friendly and service was prompt. The food was good and reasonably priced. The Loaded Steakhouse Fries were awesome. Had a relaxing couple of hours for a long lunch chatting with a friend. Recommended.
Had breakfast, morning and afternoon tea on different days. Food was tasty and well presented and reasonably priced. View of the lake was an added bonus
Earliest opening cafe we could find in this town. Staff were cheery and helped us make food choices with no kitchen open until around 9am I think. Our pie and psstie decent as were coffees the vanilla slice delish. Local produce for sale and lots of seating some with views. We liked it and has veggo options.
