The Beaufort Pub Dining - Barnet

This restaurant is stylish and comfortable, with a good selection of wines. The prices weren't too high because they have reduced VAT. The Sunday roasts were decent, but could have been better if they focused on quality over quantity. The sauce was flavorful, with a nice balance of spicy and sweet flavors, possibly with some Indian spices. The bread was also very tasty.

We had Christmas Day lunch at this restaurant, which is conveniently located a short walk from our friends' home. We weren't sure what to expect from the modern building in a new town, but we were pleasantly surprised! The experience was superb from beginning to end, with excellent staff, delicious food, a great atmosphere, and beautiful gardens outside. We were seated at a family-sized table and welcomed with a glass of prosecco, as well as a friendly greeting from the chef at the window. Our servers, McKenzie and our Northern Irish lady, were both lovely. The food and wines were outstanding, and we even chose a Georgian orange wine as we had recently visited Georgia on a wine tour. The duck and potatoes boulangere were highlights for me, while my mum couldn't get enough of the Yorkshires. Everything was delicious and plentiful, and we felt truly spoiled. The restaurant also took care to package up a meal for a member of our party who couldn't join us due to testing positive for Covid - a thoughtful gesture. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this restaurant.

Our lovely Lithuanian blonde lady McKenzie our Northern Irish server were both gorgeous. As was the food and wines. We chose a Georgian orange wine (among others) as we'd visited Georgia done a wine tour. My duck was superb. And I loved the potatoes boulangere. Mum went mad for the Yorkshires. All delicious, plentiful we were spoilt. Veggie/ vegans well catered for too, the arancini were yum.
