Ginny's Kitchen Custards - Barnhart

Finally decided to try this place because it is soo hyped up. Hard pass. Paid $13 bucks for a banana split concrete...it was soup and tasted of just nuts and bananas. I'll be going to culvers for this price and it actually be good.

We stop here frequently to eat lunch. The burgers and fries are really good. Good service.

Came tonight with my daughter and husband for the first time. It was hopping the outside window had a line and inside was packed. We ordered custard and a jumbo root beer. Let me tell you we were so disappointed. The custard is the consistency of marshmallow puff and tasted like marshmallow. I couldn’t finish it or even take more than 3 bites. The root beer was way over carbonated and not a lot of syrup. It was very disappointing. Totally bummed was looking for a good ice cream place since our move to Pevely.

Late afternoon lunch, arrived around 3:00 pm. They were still busy with at least a dozen people in and out. Order when you walk in and the employee was very polite. The kitchen, which you can see while ordering looked clean that's important. Fairly extensive menu for what is basically a burger joint. The double cheese burger with fries came out steamy hot and a generous amount of pickle, onion, etc... Plenty of FF with this order The jalapeno burger actually had jalapenos that you could taste. It was very good. The burger pattie is almost larger than the bun. The chocolate shake was delicious. I would definitely recommend and will definitely go back to try other items.
