Brewers Fayre Meadows - Barnsley

Lovely meal. Lovely staff. Smothered platter and sticky toffee pudding was really nice. Big but nice. One to try!

Food only just warm. No taste. Menu rubbish hardly anything on it. Spicy salsa was a small pot of onion and tomato never seen salsa. Gammon tough. Really poor for the price you pay. Won't be back

Was plenty of seats available, was lovely helpful, only down side for me was they was hardly any mince in they lasagna also maybe look into adding coleslaw as an additional for the salad too!

Came here for the first time in years Monday as we took my mum out for a meal. I arrived around 45 minutes early but the staff were lovely they let us get seated and we had coffee when arrived and it was brilliant. Ordered the food great lady at the bar taking orders really friendly. Food come and was pleasantly surprised at the portion size. Now I have given only 3 stars due to 1 member of staff been rude to my mother. My mother has worked in catering for nearly 30 years and once we had eaten my mum tried to clear our table she always does everywhere we go and this member of staff was so rude to my mother I do that in a disapproving tone of voice like my mother was a child after that the same member of staff brought pudding to the table and the mucky lucks and pulling her nose up at my mother she didn 't even speak to my mother bringing her pudding she just shoved it on the table infront of her and mucky lucked her. Now everyone had bad days but a bit of respect for people goes alone way I think this member of staff should change her job because she isn 't suited to working with people at all and if we had been there any longer i would have said something as she made my mum feel uncomfortable. But on the other hand every other member of staff was brilliant nothing was too much trouble they were all nice and polite . I will be booking again but will be insisting that member of staff does not serve us. Overall was a lovely meal .would have been 5 stars

Not the sorta of experience that we've had at other restaurants from the same brand. We were left to wait for nearly 15 mins to get a table, we asked 5 different people, and kept getting told 1.min. We took advantage of the 2 dine for £9.99 and expected it to be very busy. The restaurant wasn't busy but bar area was. We was disappointed with our starter, the main course was OK.
