Taco Bell - Barnsley

Ordered online to collect, seeing as last time I ordered through just eat and paid over more and chips were missing from delivery. So ordered to collect this time and given a time slot of to collect arrived at this time to be...told my order wasn’t showing on the screen yet and that as they were busy there was a min wait. Surely this should be made known to customers when ordering to collect online why put a time when they have no way of fulfilling it. Other customers who had ordered inside also waiting well over half hour. After mins my order ready with one paper cup for my drink when I ordered drinks had to ask for another cup. Girl serving no customer service skills whatsoever. Very poor communication and not enough staff to fulfill orders. Food however was good just very poor service.

Tried to call the restaurant to complain and no one ever picked up after multiple attempts. Terrible food and terrible service.

Today, my husband brought home some items from this restaurant for us to try for the first time. I had high expectations based on the photos on their website, but I was disappointed by the lack of filling in the tacos, crispwraps, and burritos. The tacos were especially disappointing, with barely any meat hidden at the bottom of the shell and a large amount of salad on top, leaving the last third of the shell empty. The burrito was small in diameter and the crispwrap was also quite flat. Overall, I felt like I had mostly eaten tortilla. On the bright side, our son enjoyed the quesadilla and the little bit of filling we did find tasted good. The prices were reasonable, but I don't think I would return unless I had a craving for a tortilla with minimal filling that I could easily find at a supermarket.

We ordered food for delivery from this restaurant. Unfortunately, we received the wrong dish, as we ordered a plant-based burrito but received one with meat, which I am allergic to. Additionally, the chips were cold, soggy, undercooked, and overly seasoned. All the food was cold and had to be thrown away. When we called the restaurant to inform them of the mistake, the person who answered the phone was unhelpful and told us to contact UberEats because he was busy, then abruptly hung up. Furthermore, the delivery was over an hour late, and the food was not kept in heat-retaining bags as it usually is, but rather was placed on the floor of the delivery car boot in a paper bag, which was unsanitary. Overall, the food quality was poor and the service was atrocious.

We ordered a variety of items from the menu, but immediately noticed that the woman at the register seemed uninterested in taking our order. She was cold and unwelcoming, and even made a mistake with our order, but instead of admitting fault, she blamed us. After reluctantly correcting the order, she gave us our drinks, only to find out that the cherry Pepsi was empty and dispensing soda water. When we informed her, she said she would fix it later. The food was delicious, but the staff could use some hospitality training. It seems like this is a common issue mentioned in other reviews as well.
