We went in for a Sunday lunch and it was well worth it. We tried their new char-grilled chicken and can recommend it. Nice and relaxed atmosphere in the pub and plenty of seating. The only thing that was a bit difficult is finding parking in the high street near the pub, but if you do, it's free on Sundays :
Went the other day for breakfast with my partner and must say was perfect everything was cooked beautifully we wasn’t sat waiting for too long either would recommend the large breakfast to anybody .
Great service, good town location and the food is what you would expect in any good wetherspoons establishment, the menu has been refreshed and my favourite apple crumble and custard is back. Couldn't give it a 5 though as toilets were not clean. Parking is restricted but there is a free carpark 2 minutes away near the doctors surgery
I 'm not usually a fan of Chain Pubs but I can 't fault it. It does exactly what it says on the tin. The food is cheap but nice, the service is quick, efficient and very polite. The quality of the drinks for the price is fantastic. Had two meals and two alcoholic drinks for £19. Yes some of it is probably microwaved but for the price I can 't complain. I had a curry and it had lots of taste and plenty of chicken. I also like that the menu states the calories and allergy information. The place is clean, a tad old fashioned but I can live with that. I 'm not sure what it 's like later in in the evening, but for a quick evening meal at teatime I couldn 't fault it. The only complaint my partner has is sachet sauces, he hates them. I don 't use them so it 's fine by me .
