We were seated at a table and given ample time to peruse the menu. The waitress was friendly as we ordered a salmon dish and three steak pies. After a 30-minute wait, the waitress informed us that the salmon was unavailable, leaving us with only two steak pies. Despite the hiccup, we received our food. For dessert and coffee, there was a slight delay in getting our coffee. The waitress apologized for the oversight. Although she was polite and apologetic, it slightly dampened our evening, especially since it was Mother's Day and our son had just returned to Chicago. Despite this, we have enjoyed our previous visits to Heanton Court and hope for more attentive service in the future. Thank you.
We were well taken care of by James, who was a very kind man! We enjoyed four delicious Brat dinners, with the roast potatoes being a standout. The desserts were good, but it was James' exceptional service that truly made our experience memorable!
The restaurant offers a picturesque view, a lovely fireplace, a varied menu of delicious food and wine options, and the option to have a snack. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food was served hot and the chocolate dessert was delightful. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience.
Eat nice. Staff attentive. Prices appropriate. defonatly worth it
We had a very pleasant evening meal in comfortable surroundings. The Braunton Inn looks and feels special both from the outside and inside. It is in a very picturesque location and the building itself looks castle-like and individual. The menu had a wide selection of dishes and all reasonably priced. Staff members were friendly and welcoming. Two days later we returned for another meal and had an equally pleasant experience. A restaurant we would definitely recommend.
