Portobello's Grill - Baron Rouge

Took my 5 year old out to eat, we were looking for some seafood stuffed mushrooms, picked a place with the name of a mushroom and they didnt have any. Ok, we'll have the charred oysters, didn't have them either. I should've ate somewhere else.

Vegetarians always get kicked to the curb in this town. my family has been coming here for years. there was a change in ownership some months back and the menu got worked over. the reliable vegetarian option of eggplant Parm got changed. now the fried eggplant medallions have a small dab of marinara and there is a little pile of spaghetti with a vodka cream sauce that is just not very good. unfortunate because families who need to feed everyone including the vegetarian just lost an option. … – show

Great food. It was busy but our food was still delivered in good time and waitress was very helpful

Great shrimp Salad with romalaud dressing! A few croutons would complete the salad!

I write this review from the toilet while enduring the aftermath of the damning attempt to aquire nourishment from Louisiana/Italian fusion themed dumpster. My family attempted to eat in the outdoor space. We were assaulted more flies than the the inventory of the Royal Airforce. The kids were crying for relief.
