Rio Tacos Tequila - Baron Rouge

Just leaving from this place and was not satisfied at all! Went to enjoy a night out for taco Tuesday and left going home with an empty stomach! I never knew tacos where the size of the pizzas in the lunchables. I feel like I just flush $40 down the toilet because I’m going home to eat leftovers. I should have did that in the first place, at least I would be full. I will never recommend this place to anyone!

Honestly, I hesitated for a while to review but between the terrible food and lack of service on July 4th, I would not ever recommend this place. The beans were somehow incredibly salty despite obviously coming from a can. The drinks... left a lot to be desired. And we had about 3 different staff members come by to check on us infrequently and often forgetting basic things. Save your money. It's not even cheap.

This place is not what it seems. I ordered a chimichanga and a margarita...the beans that came with it were refried pinto beans that tasted like it had no flavor, watered down and even worse from a can. The rice they served tasted like boxed zatarans. The chimichanga itself was to spicy and was done way to quickly. Almost like it was frozen and they dethawed it, warmed it up and poured hot spicy cheese over it. Finally, my margarita. It was a disappointment. It was mostly pre-made all they had to do was mix in a flavor. That drink took longer for me to get than my actual food. I would not recommend this place. It was not worth the cost. I'm very disappointed.

Our waitress was nice, but the food wasn’t very good. Mostly lukewarm and not up-to-par. Also, who the hell has the aux cord in a Mexican restaurant and decides they should play Creed and 2000’s alternative rock?

Waitress was amazing even though she was new. Chips were bland and stale. Salsa was bland. There are much better Mexican restaurants out there.
