If owner and operator is alison behind the bar, they can guarantee two dinge: an extraordinary product and a takerape. she is here to take care of business and have a good time to live the Ex-Pat life. abrasiw? Maybe. snarky? if they're lucky. but genuine and sincere? always. alison has been traveling for 7 years la bruja and has been living in the opposite since 2007. It is a great local resource for those who want to explore. I found out that the name, la bruja, was a sort of double traitor. when she first traveled through the opposite, she was on a big local surf spot called "la bruja." that was the original thought behind the name. but those who meet and start to know alison that “the witch” could only be what they get when they are here to start problems! dinge to know before they go: this is a seasonal institution. when the tourist and snow birds are in the city, it is open to the business. during the summer months they are pressed hard to find something different than a fragmentation of the local companies. the city is quiet in the hot months. go in to order. they pick up a table in the shadows there early and watch the live as it starts to move the city, but do not expect eating to appear magical. alison and her personal are on the theke. while there are some signs posted, they can be easily missed. order their americanan, with fresh, locally roasted beans, and a delicious cheddar, ei and speck breakfast sandwich made at the theke and they bring it to them when it is finished. internet can be immaculate. wlan is offered, but not guaranteed.
Love their sweet tasty bites and a cup tee also bought some cool cards (friendship / birthday cards) from alison great mens to
Wonderful coffee and also several granola, yogurt, and fruit dishes make this cozy restaurant perfect for breakfast. Located in central Barra it has deservedly become a local favourite.
I had a good iced espresso, however, the dark roast coffee beans we bought were fairly flavorless. Nice little shop with tables outside. Good service too.
We came to the breakfast. the bake is good and the sandwiches are great. coffee is okay. the service might have been better. waitress seemed very unhappy and never smiled. also not the most affordable place.
