Bistro 51 - Barranquilla

When you travel to South America, you lose the fusion between Colombian, Mediterranean and international. if you add to that, listen to the good music chill house and the successes dance, the bistrot 51 is a perfect place. Tonight I will dine grilled octopus with mashed potatoes and pisto. delicious

A small and cosy place with delicious plates and good wines. Moderate prices and good to relax with friends or business partners.

Cuando viajas a Sudamérica, en algún momento, echas de menos la comida fusión entre colombiana, mediterránea e internacional. Si a eso le añades, escuchar buena música chill house y hits dance, el bistrot 51 es un lugar perfecto. Esta noche cenaré pulpo a la parrilla con puré de patata y pisto. Delicioso.

Starters were awesome, especially the mushrooms. very tasty. i ordered the new york strip steak, and it was juicy and large. i wish there was a smaller portion, i have begun to eat healthier and could only eat half of it. i hated to waste it but since i didnt have a way to take it with me at the hotel. i had to leave it. Sangria was also very good and fruity. nice ambiance. thanks

Nice restaurant with good background music for all ages. We ordered several plates, all to share: the grilled pesto octopus was cooked to perfection tender and crispy, lobster croquets and the Spanish chorizo pizza (thin crispy crust w/ lots of mozzarella di buffalo and manchego cheese with chorizo all accompanied with a white sangria. Wish had more appetite to order some more of the tempting plates!
