Damascus - Barranquilla

Overall a very good experience, our group was able to enjoy a really nice lunch. Great choice of dishes. Excellent grill for steaks. Cold beer, typical fruit juices from Colombia: Lulo, etc. Good service, food was served within 15 minutes, although we were a group of 8 and there were many customers at noon.

The Zalaket family is amazing and their food is just as big <3 I would personally recommend the shistawuk. The best authentic Lebanese food I ever had:

Had a nice lunch here. The whole food was delicious. Started with hummus and salad. Then had a mixed plate. The mixed plate consisted of filled grape leaves, filled cabbage, filled eggplants, cube, a fried meat filled object, tabouleh, hummus and Lebanese rice. With the starters, a mixing plate was enough for both of us. It was not the best Lebanese food we had (the owners are apparently Lebanese, although the restaurant is called Damascus), but it was good. Very clean, friendly and good service. Appropriately expensive.

The best meal we had in Barranquilla, maybe all over Columbia. Really good food, freshly prepared, and a wonderful owner who takes great pride. And... near the carnival celebrations are perfect.

Un buen local, comida excelente y meseros esmerados, pero la cocina envía los platos a la mesa sin orden llegando estos en tiempos que o te ven comer o se te enfría, eso debe mejorar, pues disminuye su nivel de aceptación
