El kiosko de Franco Basile

Had a long lunch with my girlfriend's family last Saturday. A little hidden gem on the other side of a long bumpy drive past the beach of Puerto Velero outside of Barranquilla. I went with locals who didn't really know about this place. Reservations are a must because your name has to be on the security check point to enter.This outdoor restaurant is right on the beach. It's a well appointed modern place with a cool vibe. Clean, nice, running water restrooms! Take your time and enjoy the surroundings - if you're in a hurry you won't have a good time as everything took quite some time. Price are on the high side - our food was very good. Ceviche, shrimp cocktail and my grilled whole fish (i think it was a red snapper) were all very tasty. Nice treat and way so difference from the beach hut places you drive by to get there.
