Their specialty savory pies are awesome, fresh and made from scratch. We had the chicken pot pie. It was full of fresh veggies and teal chicken meat, lightly seasoned with a great, fresh gravy of just the right amount. The crust was obviously made from scratch, flavorful yet light and cooked perfectly. Pie Town specializes on n pies with 4 or so savory pies, 4-5 dessert type pies and flat breads. They also serve some other popular items like wings and salads that we didn't try. They feature the local Stone Cow micro brew beer and some other good beers and wines. I had the IPA which was as great. Locally owned and operated. Definitely worth a stop, and a little effect place for a meal if you are out leaf peeping from metro Boston this fall.
THE BEST hands down chocolate cream pie in town!! heck, make it the state of Massachusetts. Sweet yet not overpowering, light, and pretty. Sneaked out of bed to eat a slice at midnight because I was afraid it wouldn't last. Pie Town is doing right by their desserts and with their seasonal menu! If you haven't been check PIE TOWN out soon. You're welcome!
Great eating, beer and atmosphere. the new owners were friendly and engaged, and that local businesses support each other. the chicken pancakes and brisket flat broth were phenomenal. will now be a regular place for us.
If they decide to eat somewhere in this city they go please here, they are the nicest people and their torte is the best torte I have eaten in life, they actually put care in the food they make and they take care of their customers. this city is not my favorite place, but pietown is my new favorite restaurant here. many thanks to the owners and people who work there to make a real friendly atmosphere
There are so many great things at this place! 1. the location of the restaurant is definitely visitor friendly. at the arrival is the restaurant directly at the center with a great view of the city. eat them there or take them and go on the road next to the pavillon sit! 2. great options for local brewing! they have local neighborship wine and beer selection! we have killed two birds with a stone and stone cow try and not regret it! 3. Let's go to eat: we had the cake of the shepard. a comfort food spinning for me, which is one of the only places I've ever been, serves gravy with her cake, which makes it classy for me immediately. the smoked drumsticks were indisputably a show stuffing; great taste, great presentation. we brought the chocolate cream and the banana cream cake to home and if eating was not already a big reason to stop, the dessert cakes are definitiw! Finally, service and team were very friendly and accommodating. we have brought our pup, and not many local places allow pups and they do! use the trip if they are not from the opposite to stop for a local walk and a bite!
