Stone Cow Brewery - Barre

We tried the smoked chicken, which was so delicious that we ended up sharing it. We also ordered hand-cut French fries and homemade baked beans, and the portion sizes were quite generous. Additionally, they have an ice cream window with a variety of flavors and offer cold non-alcoholic drinks like regular or chocolate milk, soda, and juice. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere featuring pumpkins, a playground for kids, picnic tables, and various animals to see, including a big pig with piglets and emus. There's plenty of parking available and even port-a-potties. One unique feature is that you can provide your cell number, and they'll text you when your order is ready, which is great if you'd like to explore a bit while you wait. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is inviting, and the music selection is great. It used to be called Carter Stevens Farm. Overall, a fantastic experience!

This is an excellent brewery that I've visited many times over the years. I've always enjoyed their beer, food, and music, and I look forward to many more years of great experiences. The full rack of ribs was so delicious that I completely forgot to take a photo before they were all gone—my apologies for that! They are absolutely to die for.

The ice cream here is fantastic! My friends really enjoyed the beer. There’s a wide selection of interesting food options at reasonable prices, and the views are stunning. Plus, there are animals to explore, making it a fun way to spend the afternoon!

Beautiful location with great views of the surrounding hills/Wachusett Mountain Good beer, enticing barbecue and ice cream options in a family and pet friendly environment! Definitely plan to come back again!

Amazing experience. Spacious parking lot. Multiple food and beer stations. The food is tasty good and the view is SPECTACULAR from the back of the brewery. Music playomg on the weekends. This will be an excellent spot for foliage drinking.
