Chaopaya Thai Restaurant - Barrie

I had pad Thai my cousins had sampler my husband had chicken pad Thai as well my son had fried rice with shrimp I didn't really find it kid friendly the waitress kept just looking at my kids even though they were just sitting there it also wasn't cheap about 200$ I guess I'm used to the one in Niagara Falls which is amazing

Awesome food, service, ambience looking out over the bay, funky plates. I give it a total thumbs up and recommend it

I have been to Chaopaya many, many times as it's just a block away from where I used to work. The food, service and atmosphere are wonderful. It makes or a nice light meal with a great scenic view.

Family owned and all Thai. So if you wonder who's cooking... don't worry they know exactly what to do.The age of the home adds to the mystique and sense of removal from barrie, North America... you feel like you've walked into Thailand sans the excessively long flight.There are even books around the restaurant about Thailand from history to architecture and culture. Be willing to let it immerse you and you will never be disappointed.yes it is a bit expensive but there is not a flavour that will inspire your imagination or desire to travel. It might just make you want to hop on a plane after all.
