We have eaten here several times over the years when we visit the Mall so we have seen the gradual decline. Just ate there this past weekend and had the falafel pitas which were very dry and really had no taste at all. The young girl who was preparing them was scantily putting the toppings on and barely put any of the tzatziki sauce on. We asked her to please put some more of the sauce on as it looked so dry. She put a tiny bit more on. The pita was fresh but too dry!!! If you need to up your price a bit to make it properly, do so, as what you are not putting on the pita is effecting your end result. We won't be rushing back, too many other choices.
I love the donairs, they are so good and look forward to getting one at our mall visit..food is very satisfying and filling at the great price
Today my son and I visited Feta & Olives in the Georgian Mall food court in Barrie. We both enjoy Greek / Mediterranean food. We both ordered the same thing. Two gyros in a pita and a large chocolate milk. Just over $38, which I think I over priced for what we received. Paying the bill isn't the issue here. The issue was lack of meat for one, three small pieces that were maticulaous weighed. A minimal amount of tzatiki sauce that was barely tastable. Lots of romaine lettuce and tomatoes. For an extra $ 0.69 for each gyro you could have added feta or cheddar, albeit it would have been minimal. This was my second time to this location and the first was similar with having the souvlaki on a pita the pork was dry and very little tzatiki. I have been to several different Greek fast food places over the ie. Kojax and the quality and preparedness is night and day. I don't want to shed poor light on a franchise, but after my second time at this location I believe that I had to voice my opinion. I won't be going back nor will I recommend this location to anyone.
Visited yesterday and ordered the pork souvlaki dinner. It came with the choice of 3 sides - I got the Greek Salad, rice and potatoes. Portion size was great and it was extremely tasty. Will return next time I'm in the mall.
