Fresh-A-Fare - Barrie

Every time I visit Barrie, I look forward to a soup and a sandwich from this place. The food is delicious and fresh and the staff is quick and friendly.

It's been in Fresh-A-Fare. I am impressed by the service, portion size and the best carrot cake ever. It's my place and recommended it to everyone I know. Good job!

$10,000 for a ham sandwich and it was nothing special. They do not wear white bread because the customer does not ask for it. Gives gluten-free, drinks are much overprice. This business needs competition as they seem to take it for granted...how good of customers they get. Food is not worth the money and if you complain or make a comment, you will get defensive. They deliver fresh bread and feel they can charge high prices. A sandwich shop always carries fresh bread and many different breads.

The food here is a big step up from the standard sandwiches you get in chain restaurants. The counter service was friendly and helpful in the guided tour by the creation of sandwiches that adapted our taste. You also have several nice salad selection. Big deli style pickles were...included. It was a popular place for locals both eat and take.

My husband recommended we meet here for lunch on a day heading for Midland for a meeting. I had never been but he said the food wash fresh and well prepared. We met just after the rush and I was surprised at all of the...great choices. Healthy and tasty and lots of variations. I decided on a Reuben on a pretzel bun. He had a Greek salad. Fresh yes! And extremely good as well. Great pickles and a very cheery bright place and staff. I’ll meet here again to try the rest of the breads and the salads one by one!
