Homestead Artisan Bakery Cafe - Barrie

Really decent local bakery, their sourdough is delicious, and I haven't had a bagel that's come close to how good Homestead makes theirs. Their coffee is average, not the best I've had, and I usually stick with the baked goods. I just wish it was a bit more affordable so I could go there more regularly instead of just as a treat.

Homestead is an excellent local gem in Barrie. Their breakfast sandwich is fantastic—it's the best croissant sandwich I've ever had and incredibly fresh! The coffee is also great, and their aged cheddar bagels to take home are absolutely delicious. It's a perfect place for coffee and breakfast, with a nice ambiance that's ideal for working or enjoying a coffee date.

This place is a real hidden jem! I had the beetroot toastie of the day and it was one of the best things I have ever had. The taste topped the beauty!

We have The Local which is a turkey sandwich on sourdough bread with a garden salad.Food was fresh and delicious.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today and was impressed by the excellent selection offered in a lovely location. They also have a few vegan options, which is a nice touch. You absolutely must try their sourdough bread—it's fantastic! The staff members are friendly and very helpful, taking the time to recommend their best products and suggest what you should try. I highly recommend this spot for coffee dates!
