Jack Astor's Bar & Grill - Barrie

My wife and I stopped in after a date at princess auto. We decided to have a late lunch. We started with some appys. We had some bruschetta and some Asian wonton nachos. The bruschetta was very fresh, lite and tasty. The nachos were amazing. Full of flavour and a new type of Appy. Our mains were the bacon cheeseburger with mushrooms and street chicken tacos with a side of beer cheddar soup. Just amazing the burger was very dripping juicy and my wife couldn't get enough of tacos, she took a couple of spoonful of the soup and instantly asked for a take home container as the food was so plentiful we couldn't eat it all. Kelsey our server was great making sure we didn't need for anything to the point she made sure she brought me the very tasty BBQ sauce to try. It was so good I found myself covered in it. She is a definite asset to your company. Great service and food was good. Pan bread was pricey but otherwise Gaby was excellent and was friendly and knowledgeable. Great place for families as well

Great evening for a surprise birthday party. We had a party of 12 and the birthday lady was very happy! Our server was amazing and patient taking a polarid of the group not once but twice as the camera needed charging. Thanks so much for making our special person feel great on her birthday! Food was also great, hats off to back of house as well!

My husband and I go to this Jack Astor’s location when we pass by from cottage to Toronto and it’s always great. Our server tonight was the best yet thanks to Kaycee. It’s great to have someone who is so pleasant and on top of things!

Our server Tristan was fantastic. Food was delicious. Wonderful employees. We were there with a wheelchair and scooter for a birthday lunch. Nothing asked was too much trouble. Customer service at its best! BRAVO
