Ordered the Large Chicken Fried Steak with mashed taters and fried okra_Got lots of fried okra and they were fried crispy.
Small town cafe, where the owner is hands on! I had to quiz the waitress alittle They prefer to fry everything, hello it's central Texas.
The is establishment is NOT a restaurant. It is ONLY an industrial location shop which sells various forms of uncooked pasta which customers can take home and cook themselves. No seating of any kind... inside nor out. No beverages. No washroom facilities. No ready-to-eat takeout. Bottom line... the pasta sold by this establishment may be very good, but based on rating as a restaurant... terrible.
On the recommendation of friends I set off to find this place and try the lasagna. It is such a small, off the beaten track place, but what a find! It's simply a counter with a good selection of fresh pastas and sauces to take out, (NO eat in - it's pasta to take home and prepare only), as well as lasagnas, meat pies etc. Got some great assistance on matching stuffed pastas with the appropriate sauce from owner Del. Have been back a couple of times now. Favourites - stuffed seafood pasta with wild leek sauce, and chicken and gorgonzola with tomato sauce. Have still to try the lasagna!! Prices are very reasonable for the quality on offer.
