Pho Bistro - Barrie

The waiter provided outstanding customer service and was very entertaining! The restaurant was spotlessly clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. My favorite drink is the taro bubble tea, and the food is both delicious and flavorful! If you're looking for great food and a friendly waitress, you should definitely visit Pho Bistro.

I traveled from Toronto to Barrie specifically to visit Pho Bistro, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I ordered a chicken broth rice, shrimp soft egg noodles, a shrimp roll, and grilled chicken on sticky rice. The only thing that was somewhat acceptable was the shrimp roll, though they sent a hose sauce instead of the usual dipping sauce. The shrimp soft noodles were intended for my toddler daughter, Garrison, but I couldn't let her eat them because they were not what I expected. I had hoped that the quality from Toronto would be the same. Overall, this restaurant deserves 0 stars in my opinion, and I cannot recommend it to anyone. I wish they would refund the $80 I spent.

The prices are too high. A regular-sized bowl of noodles with rare brisket and a meatball costs $16.50, and the portion is quite small. The soup was fine, but the worst part was when the waitress pressed a button to automatically add a 15% tip before handing us the check. We’ve never experienced anything like that in a restaurant before. My partner didn’t argue with her, as we have no intention of returning.

The mood was beautiful, lively. the food was mostly good, but the chicken wings were very salty. the pad thai was incredible, flavored. overall would recommend.

Read a lot of good reviews about how good PhoBistro food was so I decided for the first-time to try them out. I ordered rice, pad and a noodle dish all with chicken and paid them a whopping $74. I know inflation is hitting these people hard but didn’t expect it to cost me this much. Still can’t get over this! I had high expectations but was extremely disappointed in taste and quality of my takeout. I’m a senior and I know how food should be prepared and cooked as I’m a pretty good cook myself. I rate Pho Bistro a disappointing 2. Definitely avoid coming here! Cheers.
