St Louis Bar and Grill - Barrie

The floors and chairs were sticky, and the wings were a dark brown color with a dried-out appearance. Despite requesting a dry rub, the wings were not dry at all. The veggie sticks were old and the Gurke (cucumber) was slimy. Overall, it was a negative experience.

The dining experience was satisfactory. The cauliflower appetizer was excellent. The spices were individually packaged. The children's menu had good options, but the prices were high for what was offered. The regular menu had tasty items.

My children wanted to take me out for lunch for my birthday, so we chose to go to St. Louis. The server was incredibly impolite and made me feel very uncomfortable. I didn't want to cause a scene because I was with my three children. I have never felt so embarrassed in public, especially in front of my children. I decided to skip dessert in order to prevent them from witnessing any more of the server's inappropriate behavior. If you are looking for respectful service, I would recommend going to a drive-thru instead.

My son got me in there for my birthday. Typical family restaurant, service was good, eating not so impressive. Bar food, simple, somewhat greasy, some things served in baskets. My wife got the wrong article, no time to wait for the new order, but they picked him up from the bill. Do not plan to go back, there are places with better food and beautiful atmosphere for the same money.

I always heard great things about St.Louis bar and grill. With my recent experience, the food was ok, the staff and environment were great! I ordered a sweet chilli wings and upgrade the fries to their St.Louis poutine and I don’t think the poutine was...worth the cost of the upgrade as it was a small regular poutine with scallions and a chopped up chicken finger. I’m sure if you order the St.Louis poutine on its own, it would be worth it but not as a side upgrade in my opinion. The wings were good but nothing special that would have me coming back immediately. Next time I want to try the waffle fries as I heard they are amazing.
