Sam's Pizza - Barriere

What an awesome place! Not only was the food good, service was excellent and friendly. We were in town to see friends and stopped for a quick bite had mediocre expectations because we were just hungry. Beautiful pizza from the crust to the topping! Dry ribs were great and a fresh tossed salad! Seriously I have been in so many places that just can't get that right! The owner, Doreen, felt like an old friend! So hospitable and helpful! Would go back in a heartbeat! Don't skip it if you're driving through! Pride in ownership of this place shows!

The pizza is incredible...the staff are extremely friendly, polite helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anybody living in Barriere or even passing through needing to stop for something to eat.

Amazing pizza!! I pre order an hour before I get to the town.So the pizza is hot and fresh for us.The mushroom soup is also amazing.The service is good.I always stop by this place when I drive through.A little hole in the wall thats missed.Try it out at least once

Called to order one large pizza and was told the wait would be about an hour. I called right back to cancel cause that wait time was too long for us. No one picked up the phone and I was placed on hold for several minutes before I even got to talk to someone. When the lady answered I asked if I could cancel, and she said rudely that the pizza was already in the oven. I replied with ok well I've been trying to call and have been placed on hold. She said no it hasn't been 15 minutes and HUNG up on me. This is unacceptable service. I was about to say ok don't worry about it I'll take the pizza then but she jumped the gun and flipped out. I don't know how someone like that is working in customer service that was ridiculous. Poor poor service

What a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in we could smell the hearty fresh aroma of food made from scratch. The waiter gave my kids 3 different coloring books that have been colored in before, it still have a lot of pages of coloring left. This kept them busy. The owner moved here 10 years ago from Vancouver and has never looked back. She was extremely friendly and even sat down with us to chat a bit. I had the combination pizza. The crust was hand tossed, with the toppings under the cheese. It was so tasty! The best pizza I've ever had. My husband wanted the ribs, but they were sold out since it was a holiday weekend. So instead he had the dinner special roast beef. It came with mashed potatoes and veggies. The roast beef was smothered in gravy and oh so tender (must have taken hours to cook it), it melted in your mouth. The large plate was $14.95 and the regular plate was $12.95. Great price for the huge portion size. My kids had the spaghetti and meat sauce. There was no skimping on the sauce (which we loved). My kids devoured the large spaghetti. All 3 dishes were jam packed with flavor!!! I highly recommend you stop by. We've been thinking about this place ever since. Can't wait to come back. Easily one of our faves!
