An amazing service. The lady that served us, was good and had the skill of a sales person. Very impressed. Had coffee and pastry and were delicious. Is a place that I'll go back any time and worth recommending.

I am a regular at their place ever since I moved in the area. I love all the cakes and always buy from here for gifting as they make it so presentable and beautiful that one can't get over the elegance. Tried their mango mousse cake, pies, tarts, holiday special berry cakes. Just for of flavor and creativity. The owner is very sweet and I always see her there when I have questions. One start for the size of their croissants. They can be little bigger; Highly recommend. Note: it's little pricey but worth it.

RE: Unacceptable Business behavior in our Community, Ambrosia Euro Café (710 Northwest Highway) Incident: 1 month time planning to order my son’s (6 years) old birthday with staff who refused to connect me with a new Owner. Perhaps, given the experience of Saturday, June 17, 2023, it is worth revisiting Ambrosia Euro Café’s business commitment and customer service to our community. Consequences: I was given a frozen cake on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at exactly 10 AM. To my surprise when it was time to cut the cake at 12 pm (as I had looped Ambrosia Euro Café throughout the 1 month of planning my Son’s birthday), I learned it was a frozen cake and not fresh as was communicated to me. It was hard to cut the cake and in no shape or form was going to be eatable and enjoyed by my son, his friends, and our guests. Note the cost of the cake was $209, and despite all the unfortunate circumstances, the right business action to take would have been to reconsider other options for Ambrosia Euro Cafe not to ruin a children’s party (6 years old) and let me walk out with a frozen birthday cake. The ethical action for the business to take would have been to provide an eatable cake to serve the children and my guests, instead of handing me a full tab to pay my bill. In retrospect, I am blown away by the audacity of the new Ownership to charge a full price with full awareness of delivering a frozen birthday cake. Note a frozen and unfresh cake was not part of the agreement we had with the business for the past 1 month.

Lovely French bakery in barrington! It's really hard to find French bakeries in the suburbs I have loved this one for years. I came to get a coffee with the fresh vanilla whipped cream they have. The whipped cream is some of the best I have ever had. I love the ambiance of this place it makes you feel like you are in Europe (not the suburbs of Chicago) I have a nut allergy am unable to have the pastries due to cross contamination, but they always look amazing. Lovely place I always look forward to coming here!

An excellent pastry shop with friendly staff. The cakes are beautiful! Everything we tried there (which was a lot) was excellent! I can't wait to go back and try more things!
