Surprising location of this restaurant, where I have been for the third time today. Our assessment is very positive. We love the place where it is located and although the first time it may be difficult to access, I encourage you not to despair and although the final path has some bumps, it is worth overcoming them with patience. Varied starters that the chef presents and that are always very stimulating and pleasant. Only the second course is chosen, which has several options and all of them are attractive. Today we have had a frankly stimulating Ribera Tempranillo, with magnificent results. Desserts are always delicious, especially the light puff pastry with a soft and balanced compote. A restaurant that you have to get to with GPS or knowing the way from Herrera de Ibio to the mountain on a road that looks more like a forest road. The starters are offered by them and you have to choose starters and desserts. In our case, there were acceptable tudanca croquettes, stuffed endives, anchovies and pear with bacon. Everything rich, but without surprises. Opinions were divided on the main course: the rice was passable and the meat was excellent. Desserts: walnut flan, apple puff pastry, cheesecake and brownie with ice cream. We loved the Ribera del Duero Tempranillo wine: Raíz Voy Olé, fresh and elegant. A place to go without haste.
