Awesome Wales - Barry

The staff here are incredibly friendly, and they offer a 10% discount for members. I appreciate that I can bring my own containers and weigh everything myself. There's a great selection of food, household cleaning products, crafts, toys, cosmetics, fresh vegetables, bread, tea, and locally roasted coffee. They also have some vegan cakes, kombucha, and fresh kimchi. This review has been updated since my previous one on October 1, 2021.

The first zero waste shop in the Vale of Glamorgan, and hopefully not the last! They offer a variety of products, but you’ll need to bring your own containers and bags, and be prepared to weigh your items. Most of what they sell is vegan, and they also offer veggie boxes for just £5. I really enjoy shopping here; it feels like an oasis on Holton Road.
