Brewers Fayre Barry Island

Came for breakfast, had to wait about 20 minutes for eggs and bacon then it was cold,the chef looked as though he had better things to be doing with his day, the young dark haired waitress was miserable as sin, I've come here a few times and I don't think I've ever seen her smile. The rest of the staff are lovely, helpful and cheerful.

Called in for lunch with wife and daughter. Seated straight away as was after main lunchtime. Excellent Vegan choices for daughter. My wife and I had the 2 meals for £10.95 menu and were very pleased with standard of meals. Bar prices very reasonable and staff were very friendly and pleasant. Would recommend.

An hour to be served a main, then 45 mins before got served dessert! Wasn't even mega busy but 2 hours just to eat a meal! Sort of makes you go off the idea after you've been looking forward to it!

The food is nice. However, for the price, some of the items on the menu are not worth it. eg. The big stack burger. However all you can eat breakfast is really food value for money and taste really nice. Unlimited refill drink dispenser is watered down to much, so it's not really worth it as it does not taste nice. Staff are lovely and friendly. The restaurant kept nice and clean. Parking outside is good. I would use this restaurant again but maybe for breakfast only because that food is nice and worth the price.

This was really difficult to rate because the food was delicious. We both had the mixed grill and loved it. But a 45 minute waiting time (without being told it would take that long) when the restaurant wasn’t even busy was slightly insane.
