Hooz On First - Barstow

Very nice atmosphere pleasant and drink service person she is great and people polite and helpful about most themes way to go to Barstow to rent a blessing for the community.

This place has ceviche like I've never had before. And beer is cold, life is good here. Here you want to go when you visit Barstow.

Just wanted to say this place is awesome. Definitely worthy of your time. First off this bar is truck friendly. They've got an adjacent dirt lot with plenty room for an 18 wheeler. They are supportive of our troops, veterans, cops, and firefighters. Definitely happy to see considering the state it's located in. As for the service you'll be greeted with a smile from the moment you sit down. The drinks were great. I had a Long Island that was spot on, which is hard to find. When mixing cocktails they have a heavy hand if you know what I mean. I ordered a dish called Ceviche. It was absolutely delicious with a refreshing blast of flavor from the garden fresh vegetables and delightfully aromatic with the cool taste of citrus. The white fish was fresh with a perfect texture. I recommend asking them for a bottle of chipotle Tabasco sauce to finish it off. To sum it up this place was spot on, a beacon in the night for a weary driver with time to kill. Please check this place out if you have the chance. The next time I'm in Barstow I will be back.

Sooo this has been my first time back since 2013. I must say it is a nice, environment for people who really want to just have fun. I went on Thursday which is karaoke night, and I like that it is all set up for you to pick your own song.They have social distancing and they disinfect the microphones each use. I know that I will be coming back again, especially for the karaoke.

There was an AUTHENTIC American roots music performed by a very talented group of multi cultural musicians .They plaid every Tuesday night from 5:30 to 8:00pm which make Hooz on first a great place to be on that special day .Each week they did put on a great show.
