The Boat House - BARTON

I made a reservation for an evening with my wife to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary, and the experience was extraordinary. The food was incredible, and we had a lovely window seat with a view of the lake. The staff was exceptional, showcasing great knowledge of the menu. I highly recommend everyone to dine there; you won’t be disappointed!

What an incredible venue for any event! This weekend, we had the pleasure of celebrating our dear friends as they renewed their wedding vows for the 25th time. The setting, service, and food were all outstanding. There was an abundance of fantastic wine and delicious dishes. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful Rachael, who went above and beyond to make our day even more memorable. This is truly a five-star destination for anyone!

The degustation menu and wine selection are absolutely exquisite. Without a doubt, the Coffee Cured Duck here is the best dish I have ever tasted.

Excellent 4 course meal accompanied by great wines. Desserts were a particular standout. Service was excellent and not overdone. Went with my wife for our anniversary and the chef put together a small complimentary petit fours plate with piped chocolate 'happy anniversary ' on it. A nice touch to finish the evening.

We recently celebrated our wedding day at The Boat House James and the team were exceedingly accommodating. The venue itself is beautiful from all sides, the food was fantastic and our day was memorable, intimate and flawless. The Boat House staff went the extra mile to make everything perfect for us. Can't wait to go back for our anniversary dinner! ;
