At The Heads - Barwon Heads

We dined as a group and opted for the set menu. Every appetizer we tried was fantastic, with the salmon ceviche and cauliflower being particular highlights due to their amazing flavors. However, the main courses didn't quite live up to the appetizers. I ordered the fish and chips, which were overly greasy, and while the lobster burgers looked appealing, I didn’t try them. The dessert was quite rich as well.

We visited this restaurant for a family lunch, and it was bustling with activity. We ordered a variety of dishes, but the standout items were the beef carpaccio, tuna tartare, and the soup, all of which were beautifully presented. We were so hungry that we quickly devoured our meals and completely forgot to take any photos, but I assure you, everything was delicious. The view from the restaurant was also stunning, overlooking the bay.

Just a small note: the croquettes we ordered as an appetizer weren't very hot in the center, but they were still enjoyable. The cauliflower dish was excellent, and the mussels were delicious. However, they only came with one slice of bread. That wasn’t a problem for us since we ordered the potato loaf to soak up the sauce, but it’s worth mentioning because there’s such a generous portion of mussels! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for drinks, snacks, or a meal in the area.

A very nice restaurant with fabulous views, attentive and professional wait staff, but most of all, amazing food. Our table saw a mixture of seafood platters, mussel pots, burgers, pastas and multiple other dishes that were beautifully cooked and presented. It was busy, but peaceful and we will return. It was the perfect place for a lovely lunch.

Great location and views , great food and service . We had snapper and $20 steak Wednesday’s only . The Panna cotta dessert was to die for. Highly recommend
