Capitol Creek Brewery - BASALT

The beers were fantastic and the food was delightful. We tried the Ruthenen sandwich and the Bison leaf, and both were ideal for enjoying a cool evening in our hotel down the street.

The Bison meatloaf and sirloin steak were both fantastic. The terrace is dog-friendly. There were only two servers working today, but that didn't stop us from receiving exceptional service.

I went to select some beers for a party my wife and I were hosting, and it seemed like we constantly made the staff uncomfortable. It would have been better if they had just told us they couldn't deliver kegs instead of making us feel foolish. The overall ambiance of the place felt very corporate, and the selection of beers was average, so we probably wouldn’t have chosen any of their brews for the party anyway. However, dinner was enjoyable! There are other breweries in the area with friendlier staff that deserve your business.

So the $7 Happy Hour Margarita was the draw, but the chicken-Tinga-Taco brings me back!

After my friends and I completed the Capitol Creek Circuit Loop we decided to stop here for foods. Very nice environment and our waitress was super awesome. The drinks and foods were delicious. If you have not tried the duck wings those are super incredibly delicious. Highly recommend the duck wings. The burgers were delicious as well. Thanks to the waitress for the free shots. Really appreciate the customer service and definitely coming back to this place again.
