Fantastic meal with a large group with late lunch staff was very helpful. Top quality Italian cuisine fruits di mare fantastic. Good wine list. The best meringue dessert likes a cloud. a real treat!

Very subduing. Sauce tasted like it was from a glass. My server was pleasant, but I sat next to a rough-looking table of British people. Maybe you can enjoy their terrace in the warmer months is better.

Our dinners were delicious, our table was overlooking the river, the service was exquisite! This is a restaurant that is obviously known for exceptional food preparation and service.

This is a truly authentic, upscale Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is a demanding restaurant. The waiter who served us was excellent and very helpful with suggestions. It can be problematic because the menu is only in Italian. The food was excellent, and the selection helped us with was really delicious. The wine was also excellent and unforgettable was the desert car. A very pleasant overall experience!

Went with a party of four to Chez Donati on a day with a day temperature of 36 degrees. Lovely to sit at the terrasse overlooking the Rhein. Knowing that the restaurant is owned by the best hotel in Basel: The Drei Koenige it should be a good restaurant. (restaurant The Drei Koenige has three Michelin stars.) Everything was excellent: the food and the service.
