Fish And Chicken - Basildon

I cannot believe from my local fish and chip shop which is closed on a Sunday for three large bags from fish and chicken, of chips would be one by large bag of chips and for £12 which is absolutely disappointing and disgusting. I would never go back again… chips were soggy and disgusting too!

I had a delicious piece of cod at this restaurant since they couldn't get rock eel anymore. However, I was disappointed with the chips as they were terrible. I won't be ordering chips from here again.

Don’t bother wasting your hard earned money on this overpriced establishment . I like to support local business but this is the last time I pay money to this shop . This is the 3rd consecutive time I have been let down by this shop with the food being substandard. Sorry but you need to re-evaluate the service and quality of food you are serving . And how are you constantly late on your orders . On my last order I made today online though your site , I arrive for you not to even be aware of the order. I then wait a further 15 minutes for you to then miss off an item from my order . I then have to drive back to ask for the missing item without any apology for the mistake and finally get back to then find one of the chicken burgers had the wrong sauce inside it and the family member couldn’t eat the burger as it had mayo inside . It’s really not that had to get these basic things right when the details are on a printed order in front of you . I hope you can make some constructive improvements so other customers don’t experience the level of service I have . Sad regards Lost customer.

I don't usually eat fish and chips, but every now and then the smell lures me in. Unfortunately, every time I have eaten at this restaurant, I have been disappointed. The chips are often hard and undercooked, the pies and sausages are dry, and the prices are high. I have given this place multiple chances, hoping it was just a one-time bad experience, but now I will be driving into town for better quality chips.

The restaurant always greets us with a friendly smile and serves delicious, fresh food in a timely manner. Our favorite dish is the half chicken and chips, which is always juicy and never dry. We would highly recommend this place to anyone.
