Porto Mela Dafni Beach

1 August 22 (2 adults and two girls 6-4 years old) Super recommended! Very simple but very characteristic location, beautiful for us! Good tavern with super good prices! Super friendly staff! The beach is made of pebbles and sand, you can go snorkelling, on the beach there are the nests of the sea turtles... we didn't see any turtles but I think it's a matter of luck We also stayed in the evening for an aperitif/dinner, leaving at 8.30pm They say the road that leads to the beach is very ugly... bha, it's half paved (concrete casting) and half dirt road... there are a lot of potholes... I have no problem with an SUV, maybe on a moped or car with a low nose It's more complicated, but I wouldn't call it dangerous! Just go slowly and try to avoid potholes! Top place! In here you can find the real spirit of Zakynthos. On the arrival the super nice staff invited us to take a FREE sunbed and relax. Then they simply said when you are hungry get to the resturant and take a seat . We had some fried sardines and grilled seabream both local, fresh and tasty. They also offer you some bruschetta with tomatoes while waiting for your meal to be made. Sit back, relax and enjoy Dafni Beach.
