Bao Diep - Basingstoke

I visited for the first time and was impressed by how fresh the fish was. The curry sauce was a hit with everyone, and the kids really enjoyed the chips!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant with their generous portions of delicious fish and chips, all at a reasonable price. After a disappointing visit to Oliver's in Basingstoke—where I received overcooked, dry food that was overpriced—I was on the lookout for an alternative. I had heard some positive reviews about this place, so I decided to give it a shot. Just look at the size of these fish and chips! What looks like two portions on one plate is actually one generous serving per plate! This place truly has the best fish and chips in Basingstoke!

The staff here is incredible; they always greet you with a smile. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is very welcoming! I've been coming here for years!

The best fish and chips around! All cooked fresh and hot, the fish is not sitting under hot lights for hours, and unlike some other chippys in the area my cod didn't have a single bone in it The curry sauce is also super spicy just as it should be
